Antique Button Backed Tub Chairs

Sourced in Northern France these lovely armchairs are Napoleon III.

We were drawn to these by their fantastic shape and interesting details on the castors..

Usually when we present these antique armchairs we remove the newer upholstery to reveal the age of the chair and old underlining which looks great.

However, we rather like the unusual very textured material on these chairs which has been added later. It is in not perfect, but still excellent condition being very well upholstered and the seat springs etc are all good. It would take 5 mins for an upholster to strip this back if a new fabric was preferred. We can recommend a very good local upholsterer.

These are priced at £600.00 each or £1100.00 for the pair. We are happy to sell these separately.
