Palaeontologist Chest

Sourced from a private collector on the Northern Swiss Border. Circa 1920's.

Approx 1/3 of the thinner drawers are felt lined and I have discovered 3 fossils that have been left inside!

A very authentic vintage piece of furniture with masses of character/patina to the original paintwork. All we have done is given it a good scrub with wire wool and a wax.  There are some repairs, mostly to the back and two of the handles are not original.

Note the interesting moulding along the bottom.
