These wonderful antique banks of drawers were sourced from a Tobacco factory in Portugal. These were found in the workshops and have quite an industrial feel to them.
Circa 1900 lovely patina to the original paint. Lots of knocks and scrapes as per their age.
We have replaced the bases using salvaged architrave. The tops were rather oily so we have sanded them right back, stained them back to the original dark colour and finished with a matt lacquer to seal the surface and leave a wipeable finish.
Priced and sold individually - but we do love these back to back as a kitchen island - maybe with a marble top .... £ 5000 for the pair.
Being old pieces these are not 100 % perfectly a pair.
