Pretty French Desk / Dressing Table

Circa 1890's this lovely desk was actually sourced from a shop in Normandy.
If you look closely at the pictures the unusual boarded back has little hooks where apparently linen was hung for sale.
We love the size and elegant shape of this as well as the wonderful colours and natural patina coming through the exposed layers of original paint.
In good working order - structurally sturdy.
