Repurposed Military Tripod Lamps

These antique hardwood tripods were used in the British Military, circa 1930's. They were used to hold radio masts and binoculars.
We have converted them into standard lamps, using brass bulb holders, brass chain and braided flex.
We have polished the brass fittings of one of these, the others have been left as found showing more of their authenticity with a wonderful patina to the wood and brass fittings.
The brass fittings differ at the top and are beautifully engineered.
148 - 158 cm tall without shades. The shade pictured is 50 cm across the base.
