Beech Carpenters Workbench

Sold

We have gone to town restoring this 1930's workbench having sandblasted it and then given it a good sanding.

We have added the shelf which we have painted squid ink by Paint and Paper.

The top is a fantastic solid slab of beech which we have cleaned up and oiled.

Please note and look closely at the pictures that this piece has had plenty of woodworm mostly along the top and the feet.  This has been throughly re treated to be on the safe side and does not effect the structure at all.  It is a very solid and heavy piece.

During the restoration we left a very obvious paint splash on the bottom stretcher - just for fun really - it can be easily removed if preferred.

Lovely proportions and simplicity.

85 cm h x 251.5 l x 50 d ( 55 d inc the working vice ).
