Stout Beer Enamel Sign

Sold

Oakhill Brewery was founded in 1767 in Somerset and produced the then very famous Oakhill Invalid Stout which was a beer as black as Guinness.

This was one of their signs which dates back to around 1900.  Lots of chips and bumps as per its age.  We have repainted the old wooden frame with blackboard paint.

The brewery closed in 1925 after a massive fire.
