Zinc Topped Industrial Saw Mill Table

Very excited to have our hands on this stunning table.
The oak base was originally sourced from a saw mill, it was part of a band saw, circa 1910. It retains most of its original red paint which has a wonderful patina and natural distressing. Lovely details in its construction with chunky cast iron brackets and oversized bolts.
The zinc top has been made (new) to fit the base and works very well with the chunky nature of the table. The shelf has been added using boards from a cheese factory in Holland.
We love this as a kitchen island or a centre piece in a restaurant / retail situation.
All in all it is very solid and heavy.
