19th Century French Dresser

This wonderful French Buffet du Corps is late 19th century and was sourced in Normandy France.
The finish is produced by using acid washes to carefully remove layers of paint to reveal these original older colours.
The fantastic interior is an original blue. Lovely detail to the carvings and a good well proportioned piece with masses of character and very useful. A few bumps and scrapes as per its age.
230 cm h x 140 w x 54 d at the base / 49 d at the top section.
