Yorkshire Station Works Bank of Drawers
Sold
We sourced this stunning industrial piece of furniture from the Horace and Green & Co Station Works in Cononley, Yorkshire. The company was founded in 1909 and produced pumps, hydraulics as well as electric motors for the textile industry.
It is becoming increasing difficult to find such impressive pieces steeped in the history of the British Industrial Revolution.
We believe this industrial cabinet is circa 1920's. Made predominantly from oak, it is in fantastic condition for its age with a few minor bumps and scrapes. It has been cleaned inside and out and given a light wax over the beautiful original patina.
It splits as intended across the middle.
203 cm h x 166.5 w x 35 d. Each drawer 9 cm h x 28 w x 29.5 d.
The Draughtsman's Table and Evertaut Stool were sourced from the same factory.
